JOB REQUIREMENTS Education Must be currently enrolled in an accredited Medical Technology program and fulfils Federal Register section 493.1423 personnel requirements of a high school diploma or equivalency. Experience Completions of clinical rotations in Chemistry, Hematology, or Urinalysis is preferred. Physical Normal hospital environment. Close eye work. Hearing within normal range. Exposure to biological and mechanical hazards. Operates various lab analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, lab refrigerators and freezers, alarm systems, incubators, rotators, water baths, safety hoods, incinerators, PC’s, computer terminals and printer, telephone. Frequent standing and walking. Occasional sitting and bending. Lifting, carrying, pushing / pulling up to 20 lbs. This is a safety sensitive position.
