Job Summary:  The Practice Readiness for Educational Pathways (PREP) Program provides the Respiratory Therapy student with opportunities to gain valuable experience that can help bridge the gap between theory and practice. The goal of the PREP Program is to facilitate the assimilation of the individual into the healthcare environment and culture. The PREP experience serves as a preview of direct patient care.      The student will work under the supervision of a CaroMont Health employee, licensed in the role in which the student is currently enrolled. The PREP student is assigned to a supervising employee each shift (mentor). The PREP student interns are required to schedule 12 hours of observation time per month.
