JOB REQUIREMENTS Education Actively enrolled in the last quarter of an AMA approved Respiratory Technician/Therapist Program. Possesses a valid temporary Arkansas State License. Upon graduation, the technician must obtain a permanent state license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner within the one year time limit allowed by the state. Experience Previous experience desirable but not necessary. Near completion of a certification or registry program is required. Should possess extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and clinical medicine. Must be able to exercise judgment and accept greater responsibility in therapeutic procedures based on patient observation. Physical Normal hospital environment. Normal corrected eyesight.
