Job Summary: The Lead Trauma Registrar is responsible for the integrity of data: collection, analysis, entry, completion, and validation of all patients meeting inclusion criteria into the hospital trauma registry daily. The Lead Trauma Registrar will also ensure delivery of Trauma Center data to the North Carolina Office of EMS, and internal CaroMont Regional Medical Center departments to maintain trauma center designation. The Lead Trauma Registrar will establish processes for data concurrency and data validation to ensure that the databases are not only current, but accurate. The Lead Trauma Registrar will assist in the training of the Trauma Registrars to ensure maximum utilization of individual and group capabilities.
