Department: Nursing     Reports To: Nurse Manager   SUMMARY Provides general nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.  Directs and guides patient teaching, activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing.  Demonstrates environmental concerns of infection control practice, safety/fire practice, disaster practice, cardiac arrest practice and continuous quality improvement aware of patient safety.    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
