Responsibilities The primary purpose of the Executive Director Perioperative Services position is to strategically develop and implement the clinical activities of the Perioperative Services unit, and to provide direction and oversight for the business operations and fiscal management of Perioperative Services.  The Executive Director has the responsibility, authority and accountability for the 24-hour management, administration, and organizational development of Perioperative Services.  Facilitates quality patient care and patient safety within the areas of Perioperative Services including the operating departments in University Hospital and in the Doctor's Office Center, Pre-Admissions Testing, Same Day Services, Medical Special Procedures, and post anesthesia care.
