Position Title: Surgery Scheduler - Adult Neurosurgery Clinic Department: Neurosurgery Clinic Job Description: The Surgery Scheduler is responsible for maintaining the schedule for all surgeries, quality assurance processes, and compiling department statistical reports. Essential Responsibilities Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Inability to perform these responsibilities with or without an accommodation may result in disqualification from the position. Coordinates the scheduling of all surgeries, taking into consideration such information as the desired date, priority of surgery, length of surgery, etc., to ensure the efficient use of surgery suites and staff. Maintains a paper 7-day surgery schedule to safe guard against computer down time. Notifies all necessary parties when changes must take place.
