Location: Avera McKennan Hospital Worker Type: Regular Work Shift: Primarily days with rotating weekends and holidays (United States of America) Pay Range: The pay range for this position is listed below. Actual pay rate dependent upon experience. $24.00 - $35.00 Position Highlights This position may be eligible for a $10,000 sign on bonus with a 2 year commitment. This position is eligible for Avera's Student Loan Repayment Program which helps you pay off your loans and save money. Each month an extra payment of $167 (up to $10,000) from Avera will help pay down your principle balance faster. Schedule: Monday - Friday from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. Rotate Saturday only every 6th to 8th week. This primarily provides client support and will also include some time in the lab doing send outs when needed to reference labs. Job Summary: Must have positive people skills and a can do attitude. Plan, layout and perform a wide variety of plumbing, mechanical, electrical, carpentry maintenance and installation of all types of equipment. Monitor the needed maintenance for the area(s) assigned. Perform corrective maintenance necessary to complete maintenance requests. Follow-up and initiate necessary actions needed to ensure that "all" needs for maintenance are met in a timely manner. Provide key personnel and area supervisor(s) the current status of all maintenance request(s) in a timely manner. Monitor any contract work in assigned area (s) to ensure work is accomplished properly and clean up is complete.
