Overview About the Role The Clinical Nursing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the clinical and administrative operations of the Bariatric Surgical Service. This includes oversight of support staff, clinic operations, surgical data collection, patient education, and compliance with all Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP) standards. The Clinical Nursing Coordinator actively supports the multidisciplinary team in implementing evidence ‐ based practices and quality initiatives in alignment with ASMBS guidelines.
