In this leadership role, you will play a key role in the department, as you will be responsible for directing, establishing, and planning the overall policies and goals for Island Hospital Laboratory. Works closely with hospital staff, department directors, and physicians to ensure the highest standards of quality and service are maintained. Sets goals and develops operating and capital budget for Laboratory.  Writes and updates procedures in conjunction with staff and establishes new policies as needed.  Reviews policies and procedures annually to ensure that employees have current information needed to perform testing.
