St. Vincents Medical center is seeking a Medical Director for our division of Psychiatry at our Westport campus. This position will consist of approximately three weeks of clinical time per month with protected administrative time. Board certified in Psychiatry required. This position offers generous compensation, along with bonus incentives and ample PTO. The Director of Psychiatry will work with the Chair of the department to monitor and improve quality. Monitor peer review process and ensure that core measures are being followed. Supervision of inpatient and outpatient psychiatrists. Review of capacity for medication. Oversight of all clinical activities at the Westport campus in conjunction with other disciplines (ie. Nursing, case management).
