About the Role The Emergency Management Coordinator isresponsible forsupporting the hospital’s preparedness, response, and compliance efforts related to emergency management. This role works closely with the Emergency Management Department and the Emergency Management Committee (EMC) to develop, implement, and evaluate the Training and Exercise Plan, ensuring alignment with Joint Commission, state, federal, and other regulatory requirements. The Coordinator assists in facilitating training and exercises to strengthen the hospital’s disaster response capabilities, while also maintaining employee certification and training records. Additional responsibilities include supporting the orderly operation of the Hospital Command Center (HCC), preparing reports and documentation, ensuring adherence to operational policies and procedures, and managing emergency management–related equipment inventory.
