Supervisory:
Supervises the Department Secretary and Associate Chaplain. This position also mentor’s two chaplains part-time that are located at the Women’s Hospital and Inpatient Hospice.
Pastoral Care Activities:
Coordinates pastoral care activities with plans of care developed from spiritual assessments, which are performed with patients to support medical and/or nursing plans of care.
Patients and Family Members:
Serves patients and family members with spiritual care or counseling and support during their stay. This position provides appropriate devotional materials and literature for patients, family members, visitors, and employees.
Clergy:
Works closely with the Greater Tupelo Ministerial Association and serves as a resource person and as a liaison between the North Mississippi Medical Center and community clergy and church organizations. This position develops and maintains a...
