UK HealthCare is seeking a Policy Coordinator to focus on the development and administrative oversight of the policy program and processes. This position will assist in development and monitoring compliance for departmental policies as defined by federal and state regulations and accreditation standards.

This position is responsible for the procurement and inventory management of all medications in the University of Kentucky Specialty Pharmacy. This individual will also maintain an adequate inventory of supplies to support specialty pharmacy mail order operations and ambulatory infusion center operations. Responsible for interacting with our contracted 340B split-billing software vendor to placing 340B compliant orders on a routine basis. Will also interact with our drug wholesaler, multiple secondary suppliers, and directly with manufacturers to maintain and create new WAC and 340B accounts. Internal Employee Being Considered.

This position will provide support to all clinical areas as it relates to the ordering, delivery, and stocking of all patient equipment and supplies. The primary responsibilities will include maintaining accurate inventory control; verifying receipts and entry into a computer system; pulling and recording all recalled products; and tagging, documenting, and delivering all capital equipment purchases. In addition, this position will organize work areas to support clinician requests by listening, understanding, and following through on requests. Other duties include ensuring work environment is clean and safe; attending and participating in all emergency requests and codes; coordinating the needs for training on the supply system; and adhering to all policies and procedures.

The Laboratory Services is seeking a Patient Materials/Records Coordinator to act as librarian of patient materials moved and retrieved throughout the hospitals. Under general supervision, will maintain patient slides and blocks and serve as a reference for retrieval, delivery for patient care conferences and studies. Administrative duties for the department including management of linens, mail distribution, maintenance of printers and assist faculty with Microsoft platform, and maintenance of conference room set up. Provide cross coverage for department duties as needed.
