Physician Assistant(PA) or Nurse Practitioner(CRNP) Ortho Clinic (FT)
Job Summary:
PA/NP works in collaboration with a physician evaluating patients in the Orthopedic Clinic office setting. The Advanced Care Provider performs comprehensive health assessment, including history and physical, procedures, places orders, interprets diagnostic and radiology tests, prescribes and reconciles medications, formulates a diagnosis and treatment plan, adheres to the quality metrics, and discharges patients with appropriate instructions or arranges transfer to a higher level of care as needed. This role includes the promotion of wellness, prevention of complications, and management of acute and chronic conditions. MUST provide excellent customer service at all times.
Full Time with benefits
Monday-Thursday 8:00a-4:30p and Friday 8:00am-12:30p
Qualifications
EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant program
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 1 year experience post graduation required
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS: Current Nursing License in the State of Alabama or current Physician Assistant License (ALBME). Certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Maintains current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification. Maintains Continuing Medical Education requirements.
