Job Description
- Supervises and coordinates the activities of the clerical staff, Staff Technologist and Radiologic Technology Students.
- Evaluates and provides feedback regarding individual and team performance.
- Recommends merit increases and corrective actions for staff within scope of responsibility.
- Ensures that procedures are performed accurate and in a timely manner.
- Ensures that equipment/supplies are maintained and used properly.
- Communicate effectively with staff, patients and physicians as required.
- Stays abreast of the latest advances and procedures in radiology.
- Adheres to NMHS/NMMC Policies/Procedures Guidelines.
- Ensure a smooth and efficient operation of 3-11 PM shift.

Requirements: - Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology required.
- Registered by ARRT and Licensed as required by the State of Mississippi (MRT).
- Have a minimum of 3 years Technical Radiographic experience required.
- Strong organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills required.
- Strong interpersonal skills required.
- Serves patient population categories of infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.
