Job Description
UK HealthCare is seeking a motivated, patient-focused pharmacist to join our Kentucky Clinic Retail Pharmacy team. This position offers the opportunity to practice at the highest level of pharmacy practice within a large, progressive academic health system, supported by an extensive team of pharmacy technicians, support personnel, and healthcare professionals.
The pharmacist will be responsible for reviewing and dispensing prescriptions, evaluating medication therapy for safety and appropriateness, counseling patients, and identifying opportunities to optimize medication outcomes. Qualifications
BS
No experience required.
Licensed Pharmacist
PharmD and ambulatory/retail pharmacy experience preferred.
This position requires attention to detail; the ability to provide excellent customer service; reliability; punctuality; teamwork; and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Schedule
Full-time position with flexible scheduling opportunities. Pharmacists may have the opportunity to work five 8-hour shifts per week or four 10-hour shifts per week, providing an additional day off each week and promoting work-life balance. Scheduling will
