Job Description
The Pharmacy Senior Technician assists pharmacists in providing medications to patients in an inpatient hospital setting by compounding complex sterile and non-sterile products and participating in the delivery of comprehensive pharmaceutical care.
Qualifications
HS
1 yr
Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician by either PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT); Registered with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire.
Hospital/retail pharmacy technician and/or healthcare customer service experience preferred.
This position requires dependability and the ability to prioritize. The successful candidate must be reliable and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
Schedule
1st shift, 7:00 am – 7:00 pm; 7 days on/7 days off. Some holiday requirements.
