Job Description
Overview:
Provides physics services related to the planning and delivery of therapeutic radiation treatment in accordance with the Radiation Oncologist's prescription. Provides technical leadership including clinical set-up expertise to radiation oncologists, dosimetrists and therapists. Performs quality assurance checks according to regulatory requirements and industry standards for all department equipment.

Qualifications:
Education
- Master's Degree of Science in Medical Physics, or related discipline Required
Work Experience
- 3 years of clinical experience in a radiation therapy department or completion of a CAMPEP approved residency program Required
Licenses and Certifications
- Board Eligible by the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Radiation Physics Upon Hire Required and
- Ability to be listed as an authorized user on State of Georgia Radioactive Material License Upon Hire Required and
- Participation in the American Board of Radiology Maintenance of Certification Program Upon Hire Required
