Job Description

Provides basic age-appropriate procedures, transcribes physician’s orders, and maintains general functions of the nurses’ station.

Qualifications

Education High school diploma or equivalent. Experience No experience required. Previous Lab Experience preferred Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registrations BLS required within 90 days of hire Equipment, Tools, Work Aids Computer terminal. Diagnostic equipment. Office machines. Patient therapeutic equipment and machines Specialized Knowledge and Skills Medical terminology. Basic computer knowledge. Laboratory Equipment. Must be able to work under pressure with frequent interruptions and time constraints. Must be able to memorize specimen collection requirements and certain procedures.
