Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Local & travel allowed.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous experience performing radiographic and ultrasound examinations preferred.

Required Credentials: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with Sonography (S) credential required.

Unit Details: Work includes general, abdominal, obstetric, and small-parts ultrasound examinations. Operates ultrasound units to obtain images used in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies; positions patients and assists physicians. Reviews each examination for technical accuracy, sends completed examinations to the radiologist, and communicates pertinent data to those responsible for the patient’s care following the procedure. Determines the best method of obtaining examinations with minimal or no supervision. Uses the Vail Health HIS and PACS computer systems for patient documentation.

Shift & Scheduling: Holiday coverage is required.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
