Job Description
Assignment Length: Ongoing; 15-20 shifts per month
Patient Volume: Approximately 75,000 annual ED visits
EMR: Epic
Requirements: BC/BE Emergency Medicine; EM residency trained; South Carolina license
Core Skills: Full-spectrum Emergency Medicine procedures, trauma care, adult and pediatric emergency care
Setting: Level II Trauma Center Emergency Department
Support: 24/7 physician coverage, APP support, APP extenders, and scribes
Shift Structure: Night shifts (11:00pm-7:00am), with greatest need on weekends
Trauma Designation: Level II Trauma Center
Facility Features: 81 exam rooms, dedicated pediatric trauma room, dedicated imaging and laboratory services
Credentialing: South Carolina license required
