Position Highlights
This position has administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability for the functions and actions of the hospice and home health programs, operations, nursing staff, social service staff, and support staff.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for supervision of all Home Health and Hospice staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required.
Education and/or Experience: One to three years previous experience in the administration/management of home health, hospice services or equivalent required. One to three years of management experience preferred. Ability to effectively communicate knowledge of regulatory standards and reimbursement processes. Preference for candidate with Bachelors or higher degree.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must have or be eligible for Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Minnesota and South Dakota. BLS certified or must be obtained within 1 week of hire. Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required.
