Locum Tenens Physician Ohio
Seeking a qualified physician for locum tenens coverage at a Level I Trauma hospital in Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician interested in recurring monthly coverage at a hospital-based practice.
Coverage Schedule
- Start: January 2027
- Coverage: One 5-consecutive-day block per month
- Schedule: 5 days per week
- Call: Required, including potential weekend coverage
- Number of Physicians Needed: 1
- Reason for Coverage: Open FTE
Practice Setting
- Setting: 100% Inpatient / Hospital-Based
- Patient Population: 100% Adult & Geriatric
- Average Census: Approximately patients per day
- Trauma Level: Level I Trauma Center
- EMR: Epic
- Leadership/Teaching: No teaching or leadership responsibilities required
Responsibilities
- Inpatient hospital coverage
- Emergency Department (ED) coverage
- Surgical coverage
- Coverage of inpatient units
- Evaluation and management of adult and geriatric patients
- Participation in required call coverage
Call Requirements
- Call Required: Yes
- Call Type: Beeper/Phone Call and In-House Call
- Call Ratio: Approximately 1:5
- Average Callback: Approximately 1 hour
Credentialing
- Estimated Credentialing Time: Approximately 120 days
- Temporary Privileges: Available
