Job Description
The Ambulatory Infusion Pharmacy Technician will report to the Pharmacy System Director for ambulatory infusion. Assists a registered pharmacist with support activities and processes required to dispense medical prescriptions. Prepares hazardous and non-hazardous doses in accordance to USP 797 standards. Receives and stocks incoming supplies, assist with inventory management. May prepare labels and routine prepacked orders. May be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department.
This position will be based on site at MUSC Kershaw Hospital, servicing HCC Karesh House Oncology clinics and infusion patient needs, including management of patient assistance medication needs and clinical trial support, as needed, and assist with delivery of medications to the infusion suite.

Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician by the State of South Carolina Board of Pharmacy (SCBOP)is required and must be maintained.
