Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA)

This facility is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details and requirements for this opportunity:
•Schedule: Variable 12-13-hour shifts; on call required
•Practice Setting: Inpatient
•Types of Cases: Cardiac surgery patients; ICU management; first assist in cardiac surgery; central line insertion (including dialysis lines), arterial line insertion, Swan-Ganz catheter placement/management, chest tube insertion, IABP removal, temporary pacing wire removal; management of LVADs, Impella devices, VA ECMO, ventilators, bedside ultrasound, and IABP
•Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic
•Certifications Required: Not specified
•Licensure Required: Massachusetts license preferred but not required; must be willing to obtain Massachusetts DEA and CSR; local candidates preferred but travel candidates will be considered.
