- DEA / CDS: Active DEA with VA address required
- Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS (if not BC in EM), NRP (for non-ABEM providers)
- Experience: EM residency trained; new graduates within 12 months considered with 3-month proctorship
- Other Qualifications: Graduate from accredited 4-year medical school (MD/DO); ECFMG required for foreign medical graduates; Case Logs for last 2 years; CME/CEU with Preeclampsia for initial application
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in the ED
- Manage 16,000 annual patient volume with 12-hour shifts
- Supervise and collaborate with mid-level providers (9-hour coverage)
- Perform emergency procedures as required
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR
