Work Location: Texas Health Denton, 3000 N Interstate 35, Denton, TX 76201
Work Hours: Full-Time; Monday – Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm with On Call every 7th Week

Qualifications
Education
· High School Diploma or Equivalent Individuals hired into the position prior to January 1, 2003 will be grandfathered with existing education. Required.
Experience
· 3 Years experience in a commercial or industrial environment Required and.
· 1 Year experience in a healthcare environment Preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
· DL - Driver’s License Upon Hire Required And.
· Other Healthcare maintenance certification Upon Hire Preferred.
Skills
· Proficient in the use of computerized systems for all aspects of job performance; troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and utility systems; mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills; ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams; ability to work effectively unsupervised and in teams; excellent written, verbal, and listening skills; ability work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
What You Will Do:
Provide routine and specialized building repair and maintenance support for hospital, hospital equipment, and hospital properties utilizing the computerized maintenance management system. Performs the duties of skill trades such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, general maintenance, mechanical, HVAC, and exterior maintenance as required.
Provide technical support and general guidance to facility staff in the repair and operation of facility equipment, components, utilities, and the like.
Participate in hospital and departmental safety programs, education opportunities, and related training.
