Speech Language Pathologist

Job Description

School Speech Language Pathologist Contract in Newark, MD for a 36-week assignment. Provide speech and language therapy to PreK-3rd grade students with mild to moderate disabilities, develop individualized plans, collaborate with educators and families, and maintain compliance with school and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to PreK-3rd grade students with mild to moderate disabilities.

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs.

  • Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress and communication goals.

  • Document progress and maintain compliance with school and state regulations.

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders, or an equivalent degree.

  • Maryland State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

  • Minimum of 1 year experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting.

  • Experience working with PreK-3rd grade students with mild to moderate disabilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Background check clearance.

  • Ability to work on-site in Newark, MD.
