Looking for an experienced Physician Assistant to join its hospitalist team for an ongoing daytime assignment beginning December 2026 and ongoing need
This is a great opportunity for a PA who wants predictable weekday hours, no call, a manageable patient census, and a supportive community hospital environment.
$110-$115 per hour
Monday Friday, 9 AM 6 PM
NO call
NO nights
NO weekends
8 10 patients per day
100% adult inpatient/observation
Ongoing coverage available no set end date
Supportive nursing and physician teams
Strong case management support

What You'll Be Doing
You'll provide daytime hospitalist coverage for adult medical patients, managing floor, observation, and intermediate/step-down patients.
Responsibilities include:
Inpatient admissions and hospital medicine
Evaluation and management of adult patients
Responding to codes and rapid responses
Stabilizing critically ill patients
Coordinating transfers when higher-level care is required
Collaborating with physicians, ED staff, surgeons, nursing, and case management
Ventilator management experience is preferred.
What We're Looking For
Physician Assistant (PA)
Board certified
Adult inpatient/hospitalist experience
Vermont license or willingness to obtain
Clean background and professional record
No malpractice or licensing issues
Work in Southern Vermont
