Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Pediatric experience preferred.

Required Credentials: Completion of formal training in an accredited ultrasound program or professional equivalent required. Registered Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) is accepted as an alternative to Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS).

Special Requests: Clinicians may be eligible for an earlier start date if they have recent PA fingerprint results and PA Child Abuse Clearance Results (obtained within <5 years).

Unit Details: Performs diagnostic echocardiographic studies for inpatient and outpatient populations ranging from newborn to adult, including transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, stress echocardiography, echo with contrast, and bubble studies. Imaging includes M-Mode, 2D, Doppler, Color Flow Doppler, echo enhancement, and contrast studies. Assists physicians with invasive procedures as necessary. Works at both inpatient and outpatient locations on rotation.

Shift & Scheduling: 8-hour shifts have start times of 0630, 0700, or 0730. Monday-Friday schedule with Saturday rotation. Call rotation is approximately 1 weekday every other week and 1 weekend every 6 weeks, subject to change based on staffing.

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
