What We Offer:
Provides nursing care for patients undergoing pain management procedures, including injections, ablations, and trial spinal cord stimulators. Responsibilities include patient assessments, IV starts, moderate sedation, recovery, pre-admission assessments, and supporting daily ASC operations.
Experience: New graduates through experienced RNs welcome. Willing to train the right candidate!
Schedule: 4 days/week, approximately 32–36 hours. Typically 7:30 AM–4:30 PM; hours may vary based on procedure schedules. Weekday off varies based on staffing and PTO.
What We're Looking For:
- Education:
- 2 Year / Associate Degree, required. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
- Experience:
- One year of ASC, PACU or operating room experience, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification:
- RN License in Appropriate State, required.
- ACLS and PALS, preferred.
- Additional Skills (required):
- Must have a thorough understanding of role of RN and the ability to carry out the functions as stated in the appropriate relevant state nurse practice act. Ability to set priorities and organize workload of unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient’s age. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to age specific needs. Proficient in telephone screening and interviewing skills.
