Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2250 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 1 month within the last 12 months.

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Credentials: Associate Degree or Certificate.

Special Requests: RTO blackout dates are 12/20-1/5.

Unit Details: Case mix includes medical and surgical patients, such as joint replacements and general surgical patients.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend rotation: 2 weekends out of 4 as needed; weekends are considered Friday and Saturday for night shifts and Saturday and Sunday for day shifts. Holiday rotation is every other. RTO is limited to 7 days. Flexible contract hours do not apply during orientation week. Contract is eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours. No additional on-call or back-up is required, but travelers can be placed on call for low census hours; those hours count toward the 36 low census unbillable hours. Additional shifts may be available to pick up for sick calls, etc. Call-back minimum is 2 hours.

Floating Requirements: Must be willing to float to Aspirus Stevens Point, Riverview and Plover.

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 3 years

1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months
