Job Description
We areseeking a Locums Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant (PA) or NursePractitioner (NP) to provide emergency department coverage inFredericksburg, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for an experiencedadvanced practice provider to join a collaborative emergency medicine team.

- Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Emergency Department
- 15,000+ annual ED visits
- Approximately 41 43 patients/day
- 8-bed ED , expanding to 12 beds
- Level IV Trauma Center
- 24-hour physician coverage
- Established APP coverage
- Meditech Expanse EMR
- Broad mix of adult and pediatric emergency cases
Schedule
- Flexible scheduling
- Day and/or night shifts
- Exact shift times to be confirmed
- No call
Clinical Support
- 24/7 physician coverage
- Work alongside physicians and other clinical staff
- Established emergency medicine team
- APP support within the ED
Requirements
- NP or PA
- Emergency Medicine experience preferred
- Active Texas license
- Current DEA
- Current ACLS/PALS as applicable
- Clean clinical file
- Ability to obtain hospital privileges
Compensation
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience
- 100% of travel expenses reimbursed on top of rate
- Travel reimbursement may include airfare, hotel, rental car, mileage, tolls, parking and/or rideshare

- Community hospital with approximately 84 inpatient beds
- ED expansion/renovation underway
