A healthcare organization in The Bronx is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide primary and preventive ambulatory care for patients with common illnesses and general health maintenance needs.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Standard business hours
- Setting: Outpatient ambulatory care
Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care services in an outpatient ambulatory setting.
- Conduct health maintenance visits and preventive care assessments.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat common illnesses and routine medical concerns.
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the care team.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, preventive care, and ongoing health management.
Qualifications:
- Master of Science in Nursing with an accredited Nurse Practitioner curriculum.
- Current valid license to practice nursing in New York State.
- Certification as an ANP, FNP, or PNP with prescriptive privileges in New York State.
