Job Description
Compounds and dispenses medications and pharmaceutical supplies upon receiving written orders from physicians. Reviews and interprets prescriptions and drug profiles to ensure appropriate drug therapy has been prescribed and ensures that drug interactions. Establish safe practices for infusion therapy handling, as well as collaborating and communicating with multidisciplinary team members involved in providing services to patients.
Qualifications
BS
No experience required.
Licensed Pharmacist
PharmD and ambulatory/retail pharmacy experience preferred.
This position requires attention to detail; the ability to provide excellent customer service; reliability; punctuality; teamwork; and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Schedule
Must be available to staff during the hours of M-F 7am-9pm, Saturday/Sunday 8am-5pm. Shifts to be rotating and may include weekends and holiday rotations. Hours and location of shift subject to change based on the needs of the business.
