Job Description
Assists pharmacists in providing medications to patients in an inpatient hospital setting; prepares and compounds complex sterile and nonsterile products; participates in the delivery of individual patient doses and batch doses including sterile IV medications; participates in replenishing automated dispensing cabinets; and provides customer service in Central Pharmacy. All pay rates will be based on candidate’s experience.

Qualifications
HS
1 yr
Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician by either PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT); Registered with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire.
Hospital/retail pharmacy technician and/or healthcare customer service experience preferred.
This position requires dependability and the ability to prioritize. The successful candidate must be reliable and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
Schedule
3rd shift (7:00 pm – 7:00 am or 7:00 pm – 5:30 am) Wednesday through Tuesday; 7 days on/7 days off.
