What You ll Do:
- Manage care for neonates in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Provide neonatal resuscitation and attend delivery room procedures
- Assist with neonatal PICC line and umbilical line placements
- Perform procedures such as needle aspiration and chest tube placement
- Collaborate with supervising physicians during patient care
- Document patient encounters efficiently using Epic EMR
- Contribute to high-quality neonatal care in a Level I Trauma & Level III NICU setting
- Support a team environment with physician oversight during shifts
What You Need:
- Valid State Licensure in Michigan (active license required)
- Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Neonatal unit experience (no new grads)
- Strong procedural skills in neonatal care
- Ability to work under supervision in a hospital setting
About the Assignment:
This assignment is at a leading facility in Lansing, MI, focusing on neonatal intensive care. The unit is moving towards APP-only staffing, creating a short-term need for experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners to provide critical patient care. The facility provides a supportive environment with a dedicated team, expected credentialing around 120 days, and reimbursements for expenses such as travel and lodging.
