- Employment Type: Locum Tenens
- Location: Duluth, MN 55805
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $4,900 - $5,710
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Approximately 13 weeks, with ongoing CRNA coverage needs
- Openings: 3
- Case Environment: Level II trauma center with 15 operating rooms and 4 endoscopy suites
- Call: Scheduled cases are the primary need; call coverage is valued for providers interested in additional support
- Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days
- Work Setting Highlights: Broad surgical variety including adult, pediatric, obstetrical, neurosurgical, thoracic, complex vascular, and orthopedic cases
CRNA Job Requirements
- Current CRNA certification and active advanced practice credentials
- At least 1 year of CRNA experience required
- Board certification or equivalent certification status required
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS required
- Strong experience with general anesthesia for adult patients
- Experience with obstetrical, neurosurgical, thoracic, complex vascular, and complex orthopedic cases
- Ability to manage ventilation and evaluate acute volume and blood pressure issues
- Skill with arterial line placement required
- Pediatric experience preferred; pediatric-trained providers are especially encouraged to apply
- Comfort working in a supervised anesthesia model
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, effective anesthesia care across a diverse surgical case mix
- Perform general anesthesia for adult patients and support a range of specialty procedures
- Deliver anesthesia for obstetrical, neurosurgical, thoracic, vascular, and orthopedic surgeries
- Manage ventilation and respond to acute hemodynamic changes as needed
- Place arterial lines when clinically indicated
- Support perioperative pain management techniques
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia colleagues, and perioperative staff
- Provide dependable coverage for scheduled cases and additional call coverage when available
- Contribute to a patient-centered, high-quality anesthesia care environment
