Looking for an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join its hospitalist team for an ongoing daytime assignment beginning December 2026 and ongoing need
This is a great opportunity for an NP who wants predictable weekday hours, no call, a manageable patient census, and a supportive community hospital environment.
- $110-$115 per hour
- Monday Friday, 9 AM 6 PM
- NO call
- NO nights
- NO weekends
- 8 10 patients per day
- 100% adult inpatient/observation

What You'll Be Doing
You'll provide daytime hospitalist coverage for adult medical patients, managing floor, observation, and intermediate/step-down patients.
Responsibilities include:
- Inpatient admissions and hospital medicine
- Evaluation and management of adult patients
- Responding to codes and rapid responses
- Stabilizing critically ill patients
- Coordinating transfers when higher-level care is required
- Collaborating with physicians, ED staff, surgeons, nursing, and case management
Ventilator management experience is preferred.
What We're Looking For
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP)
- Board certified
- Adult inpatient/hospitalist experience
- Vermont license or willingness to obtain
- Clean background and professional record
- No malpractice or licensing issues
