We're looking for:
Bon Secours DePaul Medical Associates is adding a BE/BC Family or Internal Medicine physician to our team to provide compassionate and outcomes-focused primary care for our patients. We're a combined team of FM/IM with 8 MD/DO and 2 APC's. Our primary care team is committed to whole-person care - addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of each patient. Located in the cozy Riverpoint neighborhood near the Lafayette River and Wards Corner in Norfolk. Close to the Norfolk Zoo, eclectic restaurants, schools, worship locations, close to I-64 and the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel. Charming homes near the practice are single-family, mid-century Cape Cods with sidewalks and mature trees. New Senior/Assisted Living Community across the street!
Practice Details:
- PharmD on site for medication management and patient education
- X-Ray in the practice - Physical Therapy downstairs - Freestanding E.R. opening in 2027!
- Collaborative and Supportive environment with 1:1 CMA and 1:3 LPN in the practice
- Work week is Mon-Fri 8:00-4:30 PM
- Full Time 36 clinical and 4 admin hours per week
- EPIC EMR, Dax Co-Pilot A/I charting available, MyChart for telemedicine/virtual care based on patient needs
- Shared Call is 1 week out of every 4 - telephone only - no hospital responsibility
- 100% outpatient position
- Open to New Family Medicine Grads and seasoned IM physicians
- We're looking for a new colleague who is comfortable with complex adult and geriatric patients, has strong communication and documentation skills, and thrives in a collaborative, team-based model. Will provide comprehensive primary care across the lifespan, with emphasis on chronic disease management, preventative care, and acute visits.
- Anticipated average 22-24 patients per day after ramp-up period

Compensation and Benefits - Bon Secours Mercy Health Offers You:
- $35,000 Starting Bonus
- Resident Stipend: $3,000 per month available for 2nd and 3rd Year Residents
- Up to $10,000 Relocation Assistance > 50 miles
- Up to $65,000 Med School Debt Assistance
- Guaranteed Base Compensation of $250,000 for first two years plus productivity and quality incentives if wRVU threshold is met
- Bonus Available: wRVU Productivity, $ per wRVU Quality Goal, System KPI attainment
- Annual CME Allowance: $10,000
- Comprehensive benefits package including multiple medical plan options, dental, vision, and prescription coverage, 403b retirement savings plus matching on first 4%
- Supplemental Executive Retirement Plan for Physicians - 5% of clinical comp up to $25,000 per year for first 3 years -subsequent years based on productivity attainment

Requirements: Qualified Candidates must have completed a U.S. Residency Program, and be BE or BC by the ABMS (ABIM, ABFM). We are not able to support J1 visa. H1B visa transfer available.
