AdventHealth Radiation Oncologist Opportunity AH Cancer Center at Castle Rock

AdventHealth is seeking an exceptional Radiation Oncologist to join our growing oncology team and help launch a brand-new, state-of-the-art cancer center in Castle Rock, Colorado.

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is a sister organization of AdventHealth which employs 400 plus physicians in 25 individual service lines in Rocky Mountains Region. AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for a dynamic and quality focused Radiation Oncologist to join our established group of 4 physicians. This is a full-time, employed position.

From primary care doctors to pediatricians and surgical specialists, we have physicians to support patient s whole health at every age and every stage of life. This aligned model and practice management experience provides the opportunity for the physicians to focus on the clinical aspects of medicine.

Job Requirements & Benefits

Requirements of the position:

  • Completion of an accredited residency in radiation oncology
  • BE/BC in Radiation Oncology
  • Proficient skills in external beam, IMRT, SRS, SBRT and HDR brachytherapy
  • Strong knowledge base of all disease sites with an interest in disease-site focused practice in the future
  • Practice development skills
  • Must be able to obtain licensure for the practice of medicine in the state of Colorado, prescriptive authority, and privileges at all RMR Advent Health facilities

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality radiation oncology care across a broad spectrum of disease sites
  • Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and treatment planning
  • Collaborate with oncology colleagues to ensure seamless patient care
Program Development
  • Assist in establishing and growing radiation oncology services in Castle Rock
  • Identify opportunities for new programs and innovative care delivery models
  • Help develop pathways that improve patient access and experience
Community Engagement & Outreach
  • Build and maintain relationships with primary care providers, specialists, surgeons, and medical oncologists
  • Participate in educational events and physician outreach activities
  • Serve as an ambassador for the cancer program throughout the community
  • Support strategic growth initiatives and referral development efforts
