NP/PA Night Hospitalist Locums Opportunity
Start Date: October 1
Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)
Coverage Need: Immediate and High Priority
A well-supported hospital medicine program is seeking a Night Hospitalist Locum Tenens NP or PA to provide coverage beginning October 1. This is an outstanding opportunity for candidates seeking a straightforward inpatient practice with strong APP support and no procedural responsibilities.
Coverage Dates Needed
- October 1-7
- October 15-18
- October 22-26
Additional coverage is anticipated through at least November 15, with the potential for extension.
Practice Highlights
- 12-hour night shifts (7 PM-7 AM)
- No procedures required
- No ventilator management
- No codes
- Closed ICU
- Work alongside two dedicated APPs each night
- Established NP/PA team with a strong NP presence
- Focus on inpatient hospital medicine and standard patient care
Candidate Requirements
- Board Certified NP/PA
- Active medical license New York
- EPIC experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable managing a high-volume inpatient census
Compensation
- Competitive locums compensation
- Estimated $110-115/hour plus travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage
