Spine Surgery APP Opportunity in Germantown, TN Position Details - Full-time Advanced Practice Provider supporting a Spine Surgery team- Role includes both clinical and surgical responsibilities- Works under the supervision and direction of an orthopedic spine surgeon- Collaborative team environment focused on comprehensive musculoskeletal care- Mix of clinic-based patient care and operating room assistance Clinical Responsibilities - Perform patient evaluations including history, physical exams, and diagnostic workups- Review laboratory results, imaging studies, and therapy reports- Develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians- Provide patient, family, and caregiver education- Maintain and review patient medical records and clinical documentation- Implement physician-directed treatment protocols Procedural Responsibilities - Administer injections and perform minor procedures- Perform aspirations and removal/placement of sutures or staples- Assist with reductions of fractures and dislocations- Assist with removal or excision of superficial orthopedic hardware- Assist surgeons during spinal procedures in the operating room- Provide emergency first aid care when necessary Compensation & Benefits - Competitive compensation package- Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance- Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) option- Flexible Spending Account (FSA)- Basic Life Insurance with voluntary life options- Long-term disability coverage- Optional short-term disability, accident, and critical illness insurance- 401(k) with employer matching and profit sharing- Employee Assistance Program- Paid time off- 8 paid holidays Requirements - Physician Assistant: Bachelor's degree and graduation from an accredited PA program- Nurse Practitioner: Master's degree in Nursing- National certification required for PA or NP- Active state licensure required or ability to obtain- Previous experience in minor medical care or emergency care required- Strong computer skills and EMR proficiency required Position Summary - Specialty: Orthopedic Spine Surgery- Setting: Orthopedic Clinic and Operating Room- Location: Germantown, Tennessee- Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent- Role: Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP)
