Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute and chronic health conditions.
- Obtain comprehensive patient histories and perform detailed physical examinations.
- Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic and laboratory test results.
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment options, disease prevention, and overall wellness.
- Promote continuity of care through follow-up treatment and care coordination.
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and clinical guidelines.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant electronic medical records and patient documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
Qualifications
Urgent Care experience is preferred
Required
- Current California Nurse Practitioner license or eligibility for California licensure
- Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Nurse Practitioner
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Ability to meet Adventist Health Medical Staff credentialing requirements
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation Range: $132,384 - $198,577 annually
Salary is based on experience and qualifications.
