- DEA / CDS: Active DEA with TN address required
- Certifications: ACLS Certification
- Experience: Preferred 2 years recent Hospitalist experience; new graduates considered
- Other Qualifications: Graduate of accredited NP program; documentation of MMR/Varicella immunity; Two-Step TB test; case logs for previous 2 years
- Provide nocturnist hospital medicine coverage, including patient admissions and cross-coverage.
- Perform comprehensive histories and physicals, and manage discharge planning.
- Collaborate with attending physicians, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary team.
- Respond to medical emergencies and code situations as needed.
- Document all patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR.
