Beautiful Pacific Northwest Location No Call 3 Days/Week 6-Month Contract + Extension
We are seeking a Board-Certified Cardiology APP for an exciting locum tenens outpatient opportunity in Hood River, Oregon. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Cardiology NP or PA looking for a consistent weekday schedule in a supportive clinical environment.
Position Highlights

- Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Minimum Commitment: 3 days per week / 4 weeks per month
- Guaranteed Hours: 8 hours per day
- Call: None
- Start Date: Novemeber
- Contract: 6 months with potential for extension
- Overtime: Applies after 8 hours worked per day
Clinical Responsibilities
The selected provider will work closely with the cardiology team and will be responsible for:
- Seeing outpatient cardiology clinic patients
- Providing on-campus supervision for echocardiograms and exercise stress testing
- Performing in-office cardiac device checks
- Supervising stress tests performed by cardiac device technicians
- Interpreting EKGs
- Supervising outpatient cardiac testing in the clinic and hospital
No admitting privileges are required. Outpatient privileges will be required to see clinic patients and perform/supervise outpatient testing.
Requirements
- Board Certified
- Active state license
- DEA required
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Cardiology experience preferred
