Radiology - Interventional Physician

Job Description

  • Work Schedule: Usually 08:00 to 5:00 PM, may need some emergent call coverage as well
  • Length of Coverage: Most likely 8/24/2026 to 9/9/2026
  • Skills/Procedures: medi-, port placements, possible arterial embolectomy - GI bleeds, Uterine Artery Embolization, some LP and spinal injection, drains, nephrostomy tube placement, . Other modalities to assist with reading would be CT, MRI, US, general diagnostic X-ray and if able PET and Nuclear Medicine, but the emphasis is on interventional radiology.
  • EMR: EPIC
  • PACs: Philips I-Site
  • Dictation: MicroSoft PowerScribe
  • Volume per day: between special procedures and in the invasive IR suite the average is anywhere from 4-6 in specials and 3-4. Total studies that need to be read by all radiologists are appoximately 400 per day.
