Job Description

This position requires working with medical professionals under time and efficiency constraints in a busy ambulatory care setting with a patient-centered care focus on quality, safety, and service. A working knowledge of enterprise, nursing, departmental policies, protocols, and procedures is needed to be successful. Working as a team to coordinate care to patients within the clinic. Working in the in-basket in a timely manner. Furthermore, this environment supports collaborative efforts among the nursing staff and team of physicians to increase communication and enhance expected patient outcomes.

The Nurse Clinical Ambulatory provides disease-specific patient care to patients with serious acute and/or chronic cardiovascular health events or seeking healthcare to maintain their wellness. The position’s responsibilities include but are not limited to, skilled assessments, care plans and care plan implementation, patient education, and clinical evaluation or interventions. This position requires working with medical professionals under time and efficiency constraints in a busy ambulatory care setting with a patient-centered care focus on quality, safety, and service. A working knowledge of enterprise, nursing, departmental policies, protocols, and procedures is needed to be successful.

Qualifications

ADN
No experience required.
Registered Nurse (RN)
Cardiac RN work experience preferred
Basic computer knowledge, MS Windows, Word, Outlook

Schedule

Must be able to work at least 40 hours per week, weekdays primarily 7:00 am – 5:30 pm (4 ten hour shifts per week); other hours/schedule as needed.
