A leading academic medical center is seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join its Surgical Critical Care team in Hartford, Connecticut. This full-time, permanent night position offers the opportunity to care for complex surgical and trauma patients alongside a highly collaborative multidisciplinary ICU team.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
  • Unrestricted Connecticut medical license or eligibility for licensure
  • 1 2 years of recent critical care experience in an ICU setting
  • Ability to independently manage ICU patients
  • Proficiency with ventilator management and resuscitation
  • Critical care procedure experience within APP scope of practice
  • Comfortable working independently on the night shift
